In essence, according to a friend of a friend of a friend who's friends with Peterson family, Jackie has always been a buttinski in her son's disputes with others, particularly when he was a member of his high-school's golfing team.
The source (my friend) is a hairdresser who knows Jackie's former hairdresser's hairdresser. Got that?

True story
When my son was little (5-7 or so) he was small for his age, had blond curls and wore glasses. He was always picked on. He'd tell me SUCH stories about how mean all the kids were.
Came to find out, he'd challenge the other kids on the bus, saying he'd beat them up as soon as they all got off the bus or some such bravado. Then, he'd get off the bus and run like hell for home! lol And of course, he'd have NO idea why they were all after him! Took me quite a while to make him understand what he was doing was wrong. I did defend him in the beginning, but it became clear that it was him and his big mouth and lies and not everyone else who was to blame (most of the time). Hard lesson for him AND me.
