Perhaps by tomorrow this attorney who is presumably earning good money will get out there and tell people that this story is not true. Perhaps. I hope so.

You're absolutely right--Amber does not have to be a saint to be a good witness. Re the above: wonder why Gloria didn't discuss this today? She was just on Fox. Guess the breaking news about Connor's body trumps news about Amber's credibility as a witness, which is as it should be. Hey, and what about the tape? Where'd the tape that was around Connor's little neck come from? Surely, Rita's sources would know.

They said "tape" but what if it's really a strip of plastic that got partly torn, from whatever plastic Laci was wrapped in?

It doesn't make sense. First, they were able to determine the baby's gender from a visual exam. There was a lot of discussion as to why the baby's body would be in better condition than that of the mother. The conclusion was that the baby had been protected inside the mother for a while, and also that the baby's body had no bacteria in it while in the womb, so there was at first no bacteria to decompose the baby's body--not the same as for Laci, who of course would have bacteria in her body.

So if the baby was still in the womb and the body of Laci was thrown in the water, then how could someone have put tape around the baby's neck and shoulder?

I am starting to wonder if after a violent fight, maybe Laci gave birth prematurely and Scott allowed her to bleed to death. Maybe he then strangled the baby, and dumped both the bodies. Still, this wouldn't explain the better condition of the baby's body, since the baby would have already been (prematurely) born when thrown in the water.
