Let's just back up here a second. I don't care if the people they laid off are black, white, or purple with orange stripes. But am I missing something, or is it really bizarre to be laying people off going INTO a major campaign? Isn't that when you normally are hiring MORE people? And then you lay them off after the election, when you don't need them anymore? These guys must really be strapped for cash if they're having to take this step NOW, of all times. Or am I missing something?
