Huns came in 3-4th centuary, before Russ state created. Attila Hun attacked into W. Roman Empire (which ended in 7th centuary). Mongols come in 1200s. History channel needs to read some history. Maybe proto-Novogrod settlement, but not Novograd. Huns, after Attila absorbed by Magyars...present day Hungarians. Slavic tribes move into present day Russia in 5th and 6th centuary from Bohemia/Slovakia/Balkins region.
