But if you look over long period why not look even longer where Britian not in India now? In that Britian lost. Each war must be taken seperate in this case not clumped into trends...historic trends not time line or accounting of wars.

Wars in rapid succession, one after the other, against a common enemy can be lumped in as tactics of a greater war. Ex. Napoleonic wars. But political and other non-military trends, such as Ghandi's non-violence movement that liberated India from Britain, cannot be lumped into any sequence of wars.
