Better brush up on your vocabularly, it's lacking a bit in an area where I'd assume you were quite well versed.

That would be the Bible so go ahead and prove me wrong.

"You may disagree with 12 but that wouldn't make it a wrong age would it?"

If people pushed for 12, I wouldn't be happy. I'd consider it wrong, unless our way of life regressed back to the point where human lives were short and brutal, and people lived to about 21. In that case, 12 might be reasonable. However, in a society where we don't have to breed as quickly as possible in order to avoid extinction, we as a culture prevent older people from having sex with our 12 year olds... who have a natural ignorance and therefore a very diminished capacity to consent. We have picked 18 as the cutoff, and I think it's fair.

12 is a bit too young, I think. 18 suits me, as you say it's arbitrary but on the whole it's a good general line for law.

The goal for the APA and the NAMBLA faction within it is to remove pedophilia as a disorder. Once this is done, parents will not be able to object to their child having sex with their teacher or any other pedophile. You won't be able to keep pedophiles off of school staffs. And in most states, the pedophiles will come after your 12-14 year old and you won't have a legal objection if your child 'consents' to having sex with them.

In case you don't grasp it yet, the APA is infiltrated by those who have gone on pedophilia tours to place like Thailand where they almost legally molest young children. These are not unbiased professionals. They are, by their own admission, pedophiles themselves. They are staging the same deception that originally removed same-sex disorders from the DSM which was the prelude to its general legal legitimization and the current special rights agenda (civil union, etc.). The notion that APA is acting as a disinterested scientific body is laughable.

You're a useful idiot to the Left, Qwerty. You are the NAMBLA poster child, their dream come true. Goebbels would be envious of what they've achieved within your vacant little skull.

When I look for definitions for words in contemporary conversation, I go to a dictionary. Try it.

It’s measured either by “mental capacity” to consent or
arbitrary law. Which is it?

"Once this is done, parents will not be able to object to their child having sex with their teacher or any other pedophile."

Oh please. The age of consent isn't going to be dropped to 12, no matter how many pedophiles want it to be, and no matter what the APA classifies pedophilia as.

"You're a useful idiot to the Left, Qwerty. You are the NAMBLA poster child, their dream come true. Goebbels would be envious of what they've achieved within your vacant little skull."

You're the friendly sort, aren't you? Please refrain from personal attacks. I don't care, but it's JR's site and he has requested it. :-)

18 was judged (reasonably) to be the age where most people can be assumed to be able to clearly give consent. Aside from that, you can marry well before 18 with parental consent in some states. Actually, I think in many states you can marry at 16.

You want to play at etymology as well? Why not just go to a dictionary, get a definition so you can communicate on a contemporary level, and be done with it?

Notice how Qwerty just glossed over this little point of yours by saying it will never happen? Just like in never happened in the Netherlands and many other countires...she has faith in the purity and wholesomeness of our country that it "can't happen", like when the APA changed the perception of her homosexuality "as normal." It's totally hypocritical.

"More double talk eh?"

Point out the first instance, then we can talk about what you think is the second...

Anyway, whatever you post I'll have to get back to, since it's time I got off here and went to do a few things. If you have anything you want to discuss, go ahead and post it and I'll answer later.

I don't want to get involved in a flame war, so if your posts are snippy I might ignore them.

Other than that, have a good day. :-)

What? Forty year old men legally sleep with 12 year old boys in the Netherlands?

Probably most heterosexuals have experienced sodomy... do you believe that should be illegal as well?

For some weird reason, the pro-homo agitators always make this crazy assertion (no pun intended). NORMAL people consider the rectum's purpose for elimation only. Only people with pathologies consider putting things in their b**t "sexual."

There's no pun I can see in that sentence even if you did intend one.

"NORMAL people consider the rectum's purpose for elimation only."

First of all, while you may be correct, sodomy is more than anal sex. It also includes oral sex.

"Only people with pathologies consider putting things in their b**t "sexual." "

Even without including oral sex (which IS sodomy), many heterosexuals engage in anal sex.

Do you know any normal, heterosexual people very well?

I notice you didn't address anything else in my post to you. Very well.

Yes, I assert that many heterosexuals engage in anal sex. Not most, but definitely many.

"Do you know any normal, heterosexual people very well?"

Of course. Most of my friends are heterosexual.

If many of them practice anal sex (the generally accepted definition of sodomy) then they definitely aren't normal.

Quite a few do, that I know of. Of course I don't know for all of them.

For younger generations, I think anal sex is much more common. It shows up in movies, lyrics, and tv... not to mention my inbox, in the form of a constant stream of spam.

I am tired of trying to communicate with another Unman.
You are lying repeatedly, and you are living in an alternate miserable reality that has real consequences. You are creating your future by your present actions and the consciousness you develop by those actions. This is the law of karma, or, as you sow, you reap. Every action, every word, is recorded and taken into account. Every lie, every falsehood, every act of lust, every violation of the laws of nature (and nature's God) - none is lost, they are a weight. The only way that weight can be removed is the mercy of God, and that only happens when we humble ourselves before Him in repentence.

I wasn't planning to say all this - but I feel sorry for you, and it just came out.
