The Big Board's own boardroom governance is under review - and the result may be sweeping changes in how the exchange is structured.
The review is being conducted by an NYSE governance committee, formed earlier this year, which is co-headed by former Clinton chief-of-staff Leon Panetta and former state Comptroller Carl McCall. The group is to meet this week to define a timetable.
