Baldwin is a radio talk show host and alarmist. He believes the war in Iraq was unjust, Bush can be compared to the anti-Christ and is ushering in the New World Order with One World Government, Lott was canned because he was going to bring up a partial-birth abortion ban for a vote, The Bushes and Clintons love each other and set each other up to grab the next election including W. getting ready to hand the presidency to Hillary, Bush's faith-based initiatives are a sinister government plot, etc. I think you get the idea.

In context to the Patriot Act, yes. Their stand happens to be firmly against the 4th Amendment.

Other than the libertarians, is there any party that's generally on the Illinois ballot who seeks to restore the Fourth Amendment?

There's a good chance there are no viable candidates that would seek to restore the 4th Amendment. When you argue to overturn the drug confiscation laws, you're called a dope smoking junkie. When you argue to overturn sodomy laws, you're called a pedophile or faggot. When you argue to overturn the Patriot Act, you're called unpatriotic. I left the Patriot Act to the end as it pretty much nullified my initial argument against Baldwin, who I still think is a crackpot.

Yes, but in throwing in the references to Jesus, one could infer that Mr. Baldwin sees Hussein as Christ.

He sees himself as Christ, because he opposes both Republicans and Democrats, his "Pharisees and Saducees".

In reality, he's a blowhard who is admired only by committed third party types.
