In the days after Jayson Blair resigned in shame from the New York Times, everyone tried to reach him. Television, radio, newspapers, magazines, old friends, colleagues. He spoke to almost no one.
But he did call one person -- an agent named David Vigliano about a book and movie deal. Those deals are now in motion. And that's all you need to know about Jayson Blair.

Even though The Detroit Free Press has a strong left-wing bias, I give them credit for at least attempting to be credible journalists. That's more than can be said for the hypocrits at the NY Times who have yet to make adequate atonement for this travesty. It is insufficient for the Times to simply publish mea culpas, retractions and corrections. Heads must roll, and not just those of scapegoats.
Meanwhile, the Times is self destructing.

He's an honest, gun-grabbing, pro-war Liberal member of the media. The group is a large sub-class of the media elite, and the only sub-class of the Liberal media to have any success at all with regularly scheduled syndicated radio talkshows.
Well, it's like this. Every prostitute has one thing they "won't do", whatever that may be. When a prostitute comes along that WILL do anything and everything, the other prostitutes all look down on that woman.
This is why political prostitutes like US senators and congressmen all looked down on Clinton-sure they take graft, but "at least --I-- never sold the Chinese the W88 nuke plans". And newspaper presstitutes are the same way.
If Jayson had stuck to the standard set of liberal lies (Reagan was an idiot, Republicans want to starve your grandmother, business owners are greedy bastards), there would have been no complaints. The problem is, he lied about other stuff.
Black conservative ping
If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
I disagree with this assertion. A clock is "right" when you can trust it to give you the accurate time of day. Not just the 2 seconds out of the remaing 86,398 seconds that it is dead wrong. This writer got it right at least once. Can Blair make that statement?
