The chart here is different from the chart at the CDC link. I think they may've updated already.

I'm absolutely sure that all the SARS cases have been reported. LOL. Stay away from those casinsos, sw.

There's a possible SARS case in Wheeling, WV, though health officials think that possibility is slight,
story here.

The other day, a poster pointed out that Alaska now has a case.

Remember, the ** indicates the states that have SARS cases that have actually been confirmed by testing. The grand total has been holding steady at 6.
The CDC has not actually found the SARS virus in the rest of the "probable" cases. A lot of the "probable" cases are most likely not SARS.
Given how devilishly hard it is to find the virus, some of these cases are certainly SARS, even though we have not yet found the virus in their bodies. But the rest reflect the "excess of caution" the CDC has decided on as a protective measure. It most certainly does give an extra level of protection, but it also overstates the number of cases. This can easily lead to unwarranted conclusions.

Less tourists and no illegal immigrant problemsObviously, you have never been inside the fish canneries, or interviewed the houskeeping staff on the north slope. Since those hated union people were driven fromthe oilfields, all kinds of people are there.
Tourists are a whole 'nother problem...
