We had on go over from the hanger deck on the way home from Desert Storm, but that was intentional. Two in a couple of days is not good!

I was on the America CVA66 In 1968. We had a compartment cleaner jump overboard after cutting loose a raft which didn't open. Flight ops were stopped for a day to search for him. And we found him, seems he found a flourescent tube in the water and it kept him afloat. It glowed when radar swept past. Anyway he thought he was going to make to Hong Kong on the raft somehow. I expect he's still doing time in the federal pen.
