After Gore flunked out of Divinity school, he tried his hand at law school, officially, he dropped out to run for office, but his grades were certainly not that well to begin with in Law School, its hard to say, if he would have failed out, or not, since he was sporadically attending classes, and trying to decide if he would run for office or not. In the end, he dropped out and ran and won office.
