Navarro, organizer of the conference: "These are the critical years for us in the Latino community. We're in a state of transition. And that transformation is called the browning of America. Latinos are now becoming the majority. Time and history is on the side of the Chicano/Latino community. The difference with us today in 1995 is that the demographic transformation of 25 million people is changing the coloring of American. It is changing in the future and in the present the balance of power of this nation.
It's a game, it's a game of power. Who controls it. Today, as we sit here, Latinos from grad K through the 12th grade comprise 39% of the student population of the state of California. The Anglo - 40%. In the year 2010 Latinos will comprise 50% of the student population statewide, the Anglo population 28%. And we saw the awesome, awesome capability of the student sector during the October-November period (1994 - Latino "Grande Marcha" against Prop 187 in Los Angeles). We saw the mobilization of thousands and thousands of high school students spontaneously emerge to the challenge, organize themselves. We've got to continue that mobilization -- you are like the generals that command armies. We're in a state of war. This Proposition 187 is a declaration of war against the Latino/Chicano community of this country!
They know the demographics, they know that history and time is on our side, as one people, as one nation within a nation as the community that we are, the Chicano/Latino community of this nation. What that means is a transfer of power. It means control. It means who's going to influence. And it is the young people that are going to be in a position to really make the promise of what the Chicano movement was all about in terms of self determination, in terms of empowerment, even in terms of the idea of an AZTLAN!"

Another little comment from the delegation for peace on the border bunch

Hummmm. Navarro wants to "hunt" American Citizens that are documenting criminal activity by photographing the illegal border crossings of foreigners. The REAL watchdog organizations such as American Border Patrol, Civil Homeland Defense and Ranch Rescue photographing the crimes of foreigners breaking uS laws and then report the foreigners crimes to local and federal law enforcement officers are being accused of "illegal, unjust and violent," activity. Sounds like a VERY raw nerve is being exposed here

Riverside, Alta California (February 2, 2001) - (ACN) National Leader Dr. Armando Navarro has informed La Voz de Aztlan that he will be leading a National Delegation of Chicanos and Mexicanos on the Zapatista March into Mexico City. "This is part of our 'Acercamiento' with Mexico efforts we begun 13 years ago under the organization Impacto 1988" said Dr. Navarro. "Our purpose of joining the march along with the Ejercito Zapatista de Liberacion Nacional (EZLN) is to demonstrate our solidarity with the indigenous people of Mexico"
Solidarity eh? With "the people of Mexico" eh? Gee Armando, no support for "the people of America?" No support for the country upon which you draw your living at a University that is funded by uS tax dollars? Tisk, tisk Armando, you are appearing to be . . . a... ummmm, communist leach on free society!!!

The Zapatista March to Mexico City has attracted international attention and the Mexican central government in Mexico D.F. has placed, at this date, strict visa requirements on foreign citizens who may wish to travel to Mexico as observers. No foreign national can directly participate in the march or they will be expelled and not allowed to return to Mexico for ten years.
WELL, well, well. Looks like good old Dr. Navarro has landed solidly on the side of the communists. On the Palestinian-Jewish Issue
La Raza's struggle for the land and for political and economic self-determination is not different from the struggle of the Palestinian people in Zionist Israel. We live in Aztlan under Anglo domination as the Palestinians live under Jewish domination. La Raza as well as the Palestinians lost the land through military aggression and both people now live in segregated regions within the larger nation. The Palestinian people as well as La Raza provide the hard labor necessary to prop up the national economies. Both Raza children and Palestinian children are victims of educational discrimination. The Palestinians as well as La Raza are considered people of color. So who should we side with in the present struggle in the Middle East? Will it be with the Jewish Zionists or with Islam? It is no secret that the United States as a whole is siding with the Jews, but should we? It is also no secret that the Jewish Lobby in America now also dominate large parts of the U.S federal government. It is estimated that over 32% of the Clinton Administration is of Jewish descent. Many are top level Federal Officials and includes the Secretary of Defense as well as the Secretary of State. In fact, the Department of State is now pretty much entirely Jewish. Most of the foreign Ambassadors are Jewish. This trend was begun by Henry Kissinger who is a Jew. This is very surprising considering that Jews only make about 2% of the total US population. Making these statements is not anti-semitic. It is stating facts. We do not hate Jews. We respect the contributions that many Jews have made to world culture. However, we reject Zionist racist Jews like the war criminal Ariel Sharon and appeal to all good Jews to do the same.
Israel can now be considered to be the 51st state. U.S. taxpayers are now sending over 8 billion dollars each year in economic and military aid. The sophisticated military weaponry being utilized against defenseless Palestinians are gifts from Uncle Sam. In fact, Israel now has nuclear and biological weapons, thanks to the United States. Why is the US providing so much to Israel? Well the selection of Joseph Lieberman as Vice Presidential running mate for Al Gore should give a clue.
Another clue should be provided by how the Israeli Army atrocities unfolded in the US media. At first, none of the Palestinian children murders were being covered by ABC, NBC or CBS. Not until the French and Italian media started broadcasting pictures of dead Palestinian children was the US media forced to cover some of the Israeli atrocities. Politicians, including Hillary Clinton running for US Senate in New York need a friendly media to be able to win elections.
La Raza is a victim of the same political and economic forces that are oppressing the Palestinian people and other people of color around the world. We must awaken to this fact and understand the hidden strategies and tactics being utilized to subjugate our people in order to devise effective counter-measures to neutralize them.

So, here we have our own media ignorantly covering anti-semantic foreign nationals which are (in public press releases!) openly promoting the overthrow of the American Government. Nice. At the same time the stupid LEO's in Texas are arresting and jailing the Americans Citizens that are trying to put a dent in the million-six+ per year flow of criminal border crossers which are being encouraged to break uS law by that very same bunch of communists, the promoters of the Aztlan cult. If the Fed's will not act, American Citizens will, and I for one will support the Citizens.
