PHILADELPHIA, May 24 -- Lawyers for convicted killer Mumia Abu-Jamal have accused his former attorney of "numerous acts of sabotage" in the case, including suppressing a confession.
In a motion filed Friday with the state Supreme Court, Abu-Jamal's lawyers claim their client's previous attorney, Leonard Weinglass, withheld information that could have exonerated Abu-Jamal in the 1981 murder of police officer Daniel Faulkner during a traffic stop.
The lawyers contend Weinglass refused to admit a confession by a self-proclaimed hit man who said he was hired by the mob to kill Faulkner.

every idiot who goes about with "free mumia" on his lips, should be boiled with his own pudding, and buried with a stake of holly through his heart

AH, the life of a criminal defense lawyer:
- God forbid your client should ever discover where you live
- If you lose, count on being called incompetent on appeal

The truth of the matter is Wesley Cook sabotaged his own defense lawyer and acted guilty from beginning to end of his trial. No amount of historical revisionist spin now should or will save his ass from the just death penalty.

Ah! A guy out for my own heart!
Wesley Cook is his name, and to refer to him by the moniker he uses implies respect, which is something I do not have for a cop killer.
Obviously, neither do you.
Cheers!

Fry his cop-killing ass. And don't forget, Ben Cohen of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream helps to financially support this POS... Grrrrrrrrr!

Ben Cohen of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream helps to financially support this POS... I bet if someone like Mumia came into his neighborhood, Cohen would have him arrested and would get the gate guard fired.

The first step was to keep Wesley Cook from frying, which the hand-wringers and liars have done for 20 years now. The next goal is to get this POS freed entirely.
There has never been a clearer case of murder than that of Wesley Cook and Daniel Faulkner. If the Left can overrule this conviction, then they will have succeeded in throwing the entire judical process into disrepute, which is precisely what they intend.
This is why Cook must die.
