I do not have the temper for many protests. I remember the one at Joe Lieberman's house, one of my last protests. This reverend Boise Kimber who was pro Liberman crossed the police line separating pro and anti-Lieberman protestors jumped up on a pickup truck and was IMHO getting ready to assault the anti-Liberman speakers, at the least he had crossed the police line and jumped up on someone's pick-up uninvited. When one of our organizers intervened peacefully I might add this piece of filth started to try to push by him. The police came and only asked the Pro - Liberman reverend to leave. In those days I had Maryann alive and with me and she kept saying Matt don't start trouble by going over there to help out.

Had I been the one so attacked I might well have left the Reverend dead on the street. I do not have the temperment for protests.
