We are still waiting for some Democrat to answer the sensible question repeatedly asked by President Bush: "If they agree that tax relief creates jobs, then why are they for a little bitty tax-relief package?"

If the opponents can stop shouting "tax cuts for the rich" long enough, perhaps they will get around to answering the question.

...opponents of tax relief have fashioned a phony plan that reduces the dividend unfairness for three years then restores it full-blown.

A flat tax ends the argument forever.

But if you think that switch was fast, wait until a Democratic majority appears and see how quickly deficits become inconsequential again -- or evidence of the need for monumental tax increases.

Let's hope that's a VERY LONG WAIT!

Actually we don't have to wait. I live in California. Need I say more?

Our one party state increased spending by 36% in four years, now they're in the process of driving business out of state, and taxing those left into the ground, mostly to pay for millions of "illegals", mostly to make them DEMONCRATS.

The current state deficit is $38 billion, that's if you can even trust their math, they could be overstating it, just to protect future SPENDING NEEDS by raising taxes for our SCUM-BAG legislators favorite causes, ugh.

>>>For 30 years while they held the purse strings, they managed to stifle that concern and run deficits every year. Suddenly, they have had a conversion and are deficit hawks.

Democrats don't see themselves as having been in control of the "purse strings" except when Clinton was "creating a surplus to pay down the debt". LOL
