Well, if anyone's familiar with Nazis and their policies, it's certainly the islamics. What is it with these people?

In WWI, they backed the wrong side. In WWII, they supported Hitler. In the first gulf war, they sided with Iraq (the "palis"), and again this time as well!

They danced in joy on September 11, and after suicide bombers murder innocent women and children, then get pissed off that the US isn't supporting their "cause" enough!

Although CAIR's response is depressingly typical of the Wahhabi Lobby, I actually do have some problems with Cal's column as well in that it lacks some important provisos and distinctions. So does your post. Let's set the record straight in fairness:

Well, if anyone's familiar with Nazis and their policies, it's certainly the islamics. What is it with these people?

In WWI, they backed the wrong side. In WWII, they supported Hitler.

This is not entirely correct. I'm certain that in WWII there were, among the Arabs, significant tribes and leaders that fought with the British. I'm not familiar with the history, but I'd bet the same was true in WWI. The Ottoman Empire was on the side of the Axis, but there were plenty of Arabs and Persian muslims who were against the Ottomans.

In the first gulf war, they sided with Iraq (the "palis"), and again this time as well!

Sure, the Pawnestinians did, but many Arab countries supported us, or even fought with us, in the Gulf War, and many supported us in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

They danced in joy on September 11, and after suicide bombers murder innocent women and children, then get pissed off that the US isn't supporting their "cause" enough!

Again, Palestinians did, but this is hardly all "islamics". Some of the largest demonstrations of solidarity with America anywhere in the world were held in Pakistan, where (IIRC) over 100,000 gathered, in spite of radicals who tried to throw grenades into their midst, and a quarter million (again, IIRC) in Iran, who gathered in spite of threats from the mullahtocracy who tried to forbid the demonstrations.

That's dead wrong. The Arabs were pro-British. The Saudis would not be where they are today if they did not support the British against the Ottomans.
