where would you like them to search? the problem here is that the condition of the body implies that there should be a location that should have a huge amount of forensic evidence, blood, etc. where is it? it does not appear to be the house, the pickup, the boat, his place of business. so where did it happen? don't get me wrong, I am not defending this guy, but this is a key question for this case.

Not if he killed her and weighted her down in the bay. Natural forces would have pulled the extremities off, thus the blood would have gone in the water.

My guess is that he killed her in the house with a blunt object blow or by strangulation, and took her to the bay and put her over the side into the water before dismembering her.

"...it does not appear to be the house..."An article recently posted in FR cited the prosecution as stating they had plenty evidence that the murder took place in the Peterson home. Don't know about the location of the dismemberment.
