A pig and a chicken were walking by a church where a charity
event was taking place. Getting caught up in the atmosphere,
the pig suggested to the chicken that they each make an
offering.
"Great idea!" the chicken replied. "Let's offer them ham and
eggs!"
"Not so fast," said the pig. "For you, that's an offering.
For me, it's a sacrifice."

Mrs. Fierro & I are diet pop (NOT "soda") connoisseurs. I guess so! I don't think I know of anyone who has put THAT much thought into pop! LOL.
I've tried all of those and still have to say that Diet Pepsi Twist has them all beat (but, I've never been able to taste the lemon in it).
LadyX, your Diet Dr. Pepper over crushed ice sounds good. You make a real treat out of it. It'd probably be good with diet pepsi twist too. :-)

Wow! Thanks for the great thread! Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for coming by. From everything I've seen and heard, it sounds to me like Alabama is a nice place to live.
I have one thing to add. Alabama has a Frank Lloyd Wright home, located in Florence, the only one in Alabama
Interesting. My husband is a big fan of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture, and I think we have a few of his houses here in CA. Thanks for posting the picture for us.

Well, hey there, Alabamian! So glad you stopped by and posted all those interesting tidbits about your state. I appreciate so much all the participation we've received in our "Alabama" post today.....we've had fun and earned a bit too. Sounds to me like Alabama is a great place to live!
To: Flurry
It's the best dang state in the whole dang country. Now, there's a proud Alabamian! Kinda proud of your state, huh? LOL. Well, it does sound like a wonderful place to live. I've enjoyed spotlighting it today. And, as a thoroughly disgusted Californian, I am ready to pull up stakes and move ANYWHERE. Alabama sounds good. :-)
To: Aquamarine
Hi Aqua, sounds like you've had a busy, busy day. Doesn't it feel good, at the end of the day, when you've gotten a lot done? :-)
To: g'nad
Oh, my goodness! I almost missed these pictures of your beautiful baby boy. Congratulations! What a precious gift you've been given (but, I'm sure I don't need to tell you that.) :-)
God's blessings on the g'nad family.

I can't believe that I missed this thread today. Add to that list of famous Alabamians....WVNan. I grew up in Huntsville, Ala. I also lived in Montgomery for three years 76-79. Oh the stories I could tell about Ala.
