Hillary and the hopelessly doomed liberals can dream all they want for Hillary in 2008, but it will never happen. That pear legged lying black pantsuit wearing criminal will not be re-elected to the Senate. let alone become a realistic candidate for the highest office in the land.
Liberals might believe her bullsh*t, America isn't going for it
Pear legged? Honey, that is an elephant leg if I've ever seen one.
Hopefully, and politically speaking, that elephant leg will end up being an umbrella stand in someone's foyer before she is POTUS.
Eloquent, funny, and very true.
Given the fact that polls are showing (favorable) change of opinion for Bush in heavily Democratic states like New York, California, Minnesota, etc. spells TROUBLE for Hillary's re-election to the Senate. New Yorkers will throw her to the wolves (I believe, at least, they now realize what a TERRIBLE mistake they make in 2000, by voting her into office).
Oh, I wish everyone I know agrees with this assessment. BUT I had a discussion with a nephew living in the distant, uninvolved, remote islands of Hawaii, and he made the most astonishing statement to me: "I don't think as badly as you do of Pres. Clinton. In fact, I think he was a pretty good President." Okay, after I got my breath back, I listed off at least 20 reasons why he should hate the Clintons: travelgate, filegate, Chinagate, missing the chance to go after bin Laden, stealing furniture from WH and on and on.
He listened, and then said, "I don't know anything about that. Can you send me proof." Not overwhlem him with reading, I am sending him, once per week, a listing of a "problem area" from miaT's threads - that will give him more than enough reading. I just haven't decided whether to ruin his week by sending them on a Monday, or ruin his weekend by sending them on a Friday, but I am positive that by the end of week 3, is going to think very differently about Bill and Hillary, or I have will have to disown him as being too stupid to be a member of my family (J/K)...(ok, maybe not).
If he can thinks this way, an educated Gen X'er, it bothers me to think that there are thousands (millions?) more just like him.
Here's a challenge. I think every one of us should find someone in their life's sphere, someone who thinks just like my nephew, and take on the education task that I have - so that we can be assured of an educated, AWARE voting public when the next election rolls around. I do NOT want to go through another close race, decided in the Courts. I want a landslide win by the most honorable, filled with integrity, genuine, Christ-loving President Bush.
