You may be politically conservative but you seem to be getting your information from the political left.

What "mistake" are we trying to rationalize. As I said, in his response to UN Res. 1441 Saddam admitted to having had WMD. The UN inspectors had found them before and if he were allowed to stay in power there is no doubt he would have them again. The fact that he temporarily moved them or destroyed them so that he could stay in power means nothing other than a reaffirmation that he is a dangerous liar.

If you don't already know that then I see little hope of comforting you that we did the right thing, but we did. The world is a better place now because we destroyed this mad man. Iraq is certainly a better place and soon the entire Mideast will be. That, in turn, will make us and the rest of the world safer.

Stop the hand wringing and find an objective source of information. If you don't now watch Fox News Channel then start.
