This is just plain untrue. The worst emails I've ever gotten in reference to my column were from rabid liberals and Democrats. Personal? I'll say. They don't even try to make sense. They simply call names. Like idiot, bitch, stupid, small brained, fool, Nazi, etc, etc. You get the picture.

It sure is untrue, Cathryn. There are tons of people out there who don't seem to have the confidence to argue a point without resorting to name-calling, etc.

You know, I think the only way a columnist can avoid all this is to become a liberal columnist because, you know, conservative critics just don't resort to name-calling. ;-)
