If the RNC had any sense they'd make a campaign poster out of that picture! It would drive the libs a bit nutty, wouldn't it .. hehehehe

I thought he sounded tired, too. He needs rest, but I don't think he's going to get it.
People are coming at him from every direction.

Thanks for the ping Howlin. Even though I'm late (darned old work anyway!) it's great to read the thread.
Good Job Freepers in chasing the varmint out.
Sorry to hear the Pres. seems tired. Understandable, as he truly has the weight of the world on him.
Isn't the Pres going to Europe or Russia next week?

The President going to the Middle East? Oh, I hope not.
Did catch on another thread that a visit to Australia and Phillipines seems to be in the works.
To: TontoKowalski
Australia and the Philippines would make a great tour.

I prefer a trip to Australia. He can re-live his Yale rugby days, and Howard would show him a good time.
I am sick of the Middle East. Maybe that's their plan...to get us so tired of them we don't pay attention to all their stuff. (Insert your favorite expletive in place of "stuff.)
On a positive note, the Crown Prince of Bahrain who speaks fluent English was appearing with Rumsfeld and said there has NEVER been a let-up in the war on terror, and he complimeted President Bush and said he was proud to stand with him.

Wasn't that potential ME trip written about in the NY Times??
I wouldn't worry about it. What are the chances that it's accurate??

Thanks for the ping, Howlin. It is really nice, when at work, to be able to read how Freepers record a live event.
Was Ridge with Bush at this event? Is that normal?

Someone wrote 'WHITEHOUSERESIDENT' in keywords.

LOL! Thanks for the picture. Obviously, the flight suit drives them mad! HAR!
I am telling you, we should make posters of those pictures mounted on sticks and wave them at the democrats!
They would proobably foam at the mouth while their eye rolled back in their heads. Sort of an "Exorcist" effect. LOL!

A little story about 'the flight suit" -
A staff of three cleaning women came to my parents home this morning as we had TVs on upstairs and downstairs, waiting for President Bush's commencement address at New London.
One of the young women said "When is he going to stop talking about terror?" - She was worried that his talking about it is going to make it happen.
My (almost 88 year old) mother asked her if she had seen the photos of President Bush landing on the carrier, and she replied no. None of the three had seen them.
I dashed into the kitchen where WEBTV is connected to another TV and as quickly as is possible with WEBTV (pretty slow) I clicked into Rintense's thread of May 1. I scrolled through all those beautiful pictures for all three of the cleaners to see.
Always trying to make converts! They did agree that he looked great. Then I gave them a little lecture about how honored the crew of the Lincoln felt by his visit, and what sacrifices they had made for all of us in the war on terror. - being on the way home last December and being told by their Commander-in-Chief that he needed them to turn around.
I wonder what their conversation was about as they drove away from my parents' home this morning.
