Know many older women? Heck I've watched the show, and I'm a young guy. Sometimes funny or bizarre is worthy of watching for its own sake. And it isn't like the women on the show haven't had ANY relationships or committments. IF anything it's just the same old story(with a few exceptions) of younger women, except using professional older women to make some sort of "point."

I can tell you my mother's life isn't like that show, and wasn't even she was a younger widow. And it's a running joke even on MadTV and SNL that the show is made by gay men and reflects gay male sexuality not female.

I don't hate the writer; I simply pointed out that it's presumptuous for him to pontificate as to why so many women relate to the show.
