It is possible: I didn't say it wasn't. Timing, though, would be critical.

But I am growing concerned that we don't set ourselves up for another "international gotcha" if we claim everything now is in ANOTHER country, and we have to invade Syria too. I'm not opposed to eradicating Syria per se, but we (conservatives) do need some common sense, and the American public will not take too many cries of "wolf" if we don't produce the weapons. I think in Iraq, the combination of cheering Iraqis and the terror camps was plenty sufficient for the public to "feel good" about the war---ditto Afghanistan---but without some REALLY hard proof of these things in Iran or Syria, I don't think the administration will consider any further expansion of the war.

That said, ONE ATTACK witn ONE LINK, and it's bye bye Damascus.

I personally think we oughta wipe out the Hezbollah and Hamas camps in Syria [justification: the war on terror]...we know where they are...and then ask Assad one more time about the WMD.

Yikes...was doing a search and came up with...

For nearly 20 years, Hezbollah has been armed and trained solely by Iran, while Syria provided the group a haven in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley.

Syria helps Iran arm Hezbollah

The same Bekaa Valley where the WMD is supposedly stored...now THAT'S scary.
