My attention was drawn to a young blonde in an army uniform. She stood tall among the cowering populace as she carefully took aim at the fleeing snipers. As she began to squeeze the trigger, John Ashcroft knocked the weapon down.

"Ah jes' know I coulda stopped 'em," she said in a distinctive West Virginia accent.

Ashcroft turned to her, "We need the chaos. It works to my advantage." As he moved to his limo, he added, "Remember, we have bigger plans for you. You'll get your chance."

Soon after, I would make the first of many visits to the Lynch farm.....
