Seriously, people think all Oklahomans must have lost their homes at least once or twice. I have only known ONE person who did (and they all survived, unharmed.)

I lived on the OklaTex line north of Wichita Falls for several years and saw several tornadoes. After the military and school, I moved to Northern Mississippi. I have seen and been near more tornadoes here that while in Texas. In Texas I could see them miles away, here they are on top of you before you know it. In May of 01' I was driving west on Highway 57 in McNairy County, Tn, and drove right into one and hydroplaned at 15 mph. As someone else said, you couldn't have drove a ten penny nail up my butt with a sledgehammer. Two weeks ago a funnel cloud went right over my home, the tail took out a couple of trees. I got a weather alert and a storm cellar which I keep clean and stocked with MRE's, radio, and water.
