During World War II, for example, King Mohammed V refused a request by the pro-Nazi Vichy France regime to round up the country’s Jews for deportation.

That is something, during that time Arafat's relative, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was in Europe kissing up to Hitler as hard as possible, and begging for the extermination of all Jews. But King Mohammed V refused a Vichy request to hand over Moroccan Jews, and may praise be upon him for that.

James F Dunnigan pointed out that al-Qaeda really screwed the pooch on this one and the op in Saudi Arabia. Many of the people injured and killed were Muslims. Suddenly, everyone in that neck of the woods is realizing that these people they've been cheering need to be hunted down like dogs.

As the majority of Muslims and scholars of Islam have been trying to say for years without being heard much, the Kings of Morrocco are the mainstream of Islam. The Kings of Saudi Arabia do not and never have. Wahhab and Saud depended upon each other from the outset. It is oil that has enabled them to be in a position of dominance. Imagine, for example, if the violent Christian identity racists of Idaho were suddenly gifted with the world's largest proven oil reserves by conventional production and spent sixty years spending the oil profits to publish to the world that they were the "main stream" of Christianity.
