Islam is illegal in the United States and has been since about 1892-1893. It's just one of those rulings that the muddle-headed liberals and politically correct crowd choses to ignore.
The judges that made that ruling were FAR wiser than we are today, evidently.

You can, of course, cite the relevant ruling (and explain how it does not violate the "Congress shall not ... prohibt the free excercise thereof" bit of the First Amendment, right?
