Gilmour sems like a middle aged English gentleman in interviews and quite composed and articulate and kind. Arguably the best guitarist in rock history to get the most sound from the least chops. Haunting. I still love his work. He still gets sort of choked up when talking about Syd's cliffdive from sanity.

We must have seen the same interview. Well said. Waters is equally articulate, but seems to be more troubled.

Indeed...he was in his ancient barn/loft that had been converted into an office of sorts and was so reflective and polite and of course his "English" was perfect.

I will never forget how his twinkling eyes misted over when reflecting on Syd. Lost friends...lost time....lost lives.

I've seen it myself but not so publicly.

Anyhow...a helluva gent for an older rock icon. Very impressive. Plus...he seems quite intelligent and well read.
