RTKBA people oppose this law, too, and the SCOTUS rulings of the era on the subject, so this report is really not that big of a deal. Nuclear weapons are covered under the 2nd amendment. Any arms the government has, we have a right to have. I want my Patriot Battery, and one for my kid.
I disagree. Based on the principal that indiscriminant weapons are in a different class, mines, bioweapons, and nuclear devices should be out of the question for ordinary citizens. To argue otherwise is to open up the legality of firearms of all kinds to attack because the opposition can say without any distinction between the two, all arms should be banned. Second amendment proponents should all be aware of this important principal.
