Too damned many politicians are getting rich off illegal aliens. Hell, the money they send in to the Social Security Administration alone is $10 BILLION to $20 BILLION a year. And there is absolutely no way to account for it because most of the SSN's are ficticious anyway.

And it's not just turning a blind eye, he actively encourages illegal immigration (wanting to grant amnesty, etc).

I have Hadenuf too. I am so sick of these so called Republicans on this site and elsewhere that are running as fast as the can from this issue. There is no mistake, this government is destroying our sovereignty and this country.

What's hard to believe? I'm not talking about the legal immigrants whom I welcome. But the illegals are growing in number and there has become a sub-culture in our metropolitan areas. Most are day labor seekers who do most any hard labor job. I admire their hard work since I came up working hard. But I don't like the illegal side of their presence.

I confess that I visited two different McDonalds in the past week.In both cases the staff was 100 percent hispanic, (100 percent hispanic or 100 percent illegal immigrants?) and on both visits I had to repeat my order twice due to the tenuous grasp of the English language. (That's always frustrating.)
Both places were in upscale suburban neighborhoods. (THE HORROR!)

The city of Huntington Beach, California has actually set up a place where illegal aliens can congregate and get picked up for day jobs. I call this "aiding and abetting" a criminal act, don't you?

"it is clear that the US government is discouraging American citizens from working." Why I wonder? What does it benefit this country if more and more of its citizens are unemployed? Whose going to pay the taxes that keep the idiot government "functioning". It would seem that OUR country is bending over backwards to do us (the native born population) harm? Why?
To: BeerSwillr
You are following the tradition during bad economic times. Just blame someone else for your problems. It has been going on since the beginning of time.

I wish I had the Plastic Dashboard Virgin Mary concession here in Colorado. I could retire. Oh, and the Mexican flag concession too.Specifically, it's the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Sure. That's what I'm doing, "blaming someone else for my problems." Only thing is I don't have a problem, we have a problem. And apparently it is growing.
To: BeerSwillr
You might consider jailing the cheats that hire illegals.

It has been going on since the beginning of time. Wrong!
You wont find anything in the history books about this, epic, titanic invasion of literally millions of illegals that are pouring into America.
It's lawlessness on a *nationwide* scale. No, this has not been going on since the beginning of time. The last 20 years? Yes.
But that was a nice attempt to try and minimize this crisis.......
To: Reaganwuzthebest
Well i'm not sure where you're at, i'm assuming that we are talking about the same type of Agricultural breaking your back work. Maybe the people here are just lazier, I don't know but I can tell you that the Mexican's do it cheaper and as much as I hate to say it better than the labor workers around here.
To: vikingcelt
The goal is the destruction of the middle class. In every country it is the middle class that holds the corrupt politicians and businessmen in check. Stratification of American society is underway, into the easily controlled poor and the elite rich.

Did you see the thread a couple of weeks ago about how they're bulding a "pavillion" at taxpayers' expense for the illegals to wait for day labor trucks to pull up? This is in Arlington, VA. It just keeps getting worse.

Check around. A lot are legal but the illegals are growing rapidly it's a real problem here. Most of the "legals" that have been in the country less than 20 years are in fact prior "amnestied" Illegal Aliens or relatives of amnestied illegals (Read: chain immigration). It appears that the current bumper crop of Illegal Aliens are, like their kin before them, waiting for the NEXT amnesty. And George Bush is doing everything he can to deliver on this.

(wanting to grant amnesty, etc). That's the quandery in a nutshell. Concerning the illegals that are already here, no party is going to send out thousands of INS or military to round up and deport illegals from all over the US (and break up families with children who are citizens and parents who are not) and put illegals on cattle cars headed for Mexico (political suicide), etc. Do we grant amnesty to avoid a bigger underground economy? To create more eventual tax payers?, etc....Or do we leave them as fugitives to hide and become criminals and push drugs and steal to eat from you and me, and grow a subculture that hates us, etc. Which of those alternative is best for us in the long run?
