I love David Horowitz, but I think he has confused politics with morals. What may be legal is not necessarily moral (and vice versa). A person can easily sacrifice politics (here in VT we had Jumpin' Jim Jeffords), but it's much different to sacrifice morals.
Another illustration of what RJ Rushdoony said about 10 years ago, conservative humanism is still humanism.

Yes, and that is why repealing things like sodomy laws doesn't mean the behavior in question is being condoned, let alone embraced. It means its none of the government's business.
