One of the best descriptions I've heard of liberals and conservatives, (I think Rush Limbaugh said it) is that liberals feel before making a statement, and conservatives think before making a statement.

Most liberals feel things should be a certain way before really thinking through the consequences.

To say this state is conservative would be a mild understatement. Didn't Ross Perot finish ahead of Clinton here? Also, I don't think the SL Tribune is leftist, it's just a normal paper compared to the Deseret News. The editors at the DNews censor everything, from Dave Barry to AP Wire stories.
