It is about time, and since I believe the NRA is complicit in the first bill being passed, we will just wait and see how much they fight for it's time out in 04.

IIRC, there was a battle going on within the NRA back in 1994 between the appeasers and straight-talking people like LaPierre. The appeasers were in charge back then, but it looks like the LaPierre faction is ascendent now.
