Take it from me - it does. I'm nineteen now, and I had my eyebrow pierced for a short period of time while I was in high school. I graduated when I was sixteen and the day I did I took out that stupid little hoop and never put it back. I decided that if I was going to be taken seriously it was time to grow up.

So I've seen both sides.

I can handle tattoos and I can handle peircings. But I cannot understand (or stomach) this, scarification or those weird under the skin implant things. Maybe that's counter productive or hypocritical to some, but it's just how I feel. I can't even look at the split tongue people. It really, really makes my skin crawl.
