Your word is golden with me, so I trust your characterization of Sean's questions as "softball". Why on earth would Sean have him on his show if he didn't intend to challenge what he wrote?
Shame on Sean.

(Christopher Hitchens has already deftly refuted what Sid Blew wrote about him.)

Enjoyed this review. Will take a pass on buying the book.

" I think Sullivan's opinions about Clinton's activities have to be judged in the context of his homosexuality."
Something about that entire, miserable, eight year national nightmare was soaked in sex. Sadly, sex obscured far more serious matters that somehow never could get traction. In a way, it began with a little homosexual pinhead, David Brock, who wrote about Clinton's sexual proclivities in the American Spectator. That was before he (Brock) admitted to the Washington Post that he was homosexual.
Do I speculate about this? No! I was there, in the middle of it all.
The Clinton administration, never known to miss an opportunity, co-opted Brock while he was writing a book about Hillary, and he saw a brighter future, and perhaps a better sex life, by becoming a convert and accomplice to Sidney Blumenthal, Joe Conason, Murray Waas, and the entire cast of characters of Salon Magazine.

As I read this, I couldn't help but wonder what Sidney's screen name is - over at DU. What a pathetic sycophant!

Throughout the already long battle since January, I had repressed whatever I felt about Mr. Clintons behavior on behalf of the larger political interest. What I felt mattered even less now. The battle over the past eight months was just a preliminary to an even greater onea fight, it appeared to me, to the death." That about sums up the Clinton Presidency .. it's all about power, no matter the cost

Sean didn't say ONE WORD. I was so disgusted! I have yet to figure out Hannity's debating style- whether he's "giving them enough rope to hang themselves" or just trying to be a nice guy, he lets too many left-wing loons get their talking points out to the public without adequately challenging them.

glarfing error.
PRESIDENT NIXON WAS NEVER IMPEACHED ! President Clinton is the ONLY elected president, to have been IMPEACHED ; the ONLY one.
