Coming at the end of an article like this one, it makes Sullivan's judgment look almost as questionable as Blumenthal's.I'm glad they lost too. Al Gore would have become president, and with the incumbent advantage almost certainly would have been reelected in 2000. Instead, Clinton got to stick around for another couple of years and totally run his reputation (and that of the Democratic Party) into the ground, which in the end turned out to be of incalculable value in saving this country from eventual ruin.

...he is completely out of his mind.Sid was on Hannity's radio show. I'd say Sid has a much higher regard for the impeached *One than the Hildabeast does. *Crinton did NO wrong, and perjured himself on, "Questions he should not have been asked."
Sickening, really.

Quite a read, but you know what? As I read the vivid description of Blumenthal's warped mind, others just like him, come to mind.
Joe Conason, Paul Begala, James Carville, Gene Lyons, Bruce Lindsey, Susan Thomases, Maggie Williams, Harry Thomason, Ann Lewis, Harold Ickes, Web Hubbell, etc.
Were these people possessed? None more than Sidney Blumenthal, but all of them sold their souls to protect and defend Bill and Hillary Clinton.
I can't slaptheshitoutta Sidney Blumenthal as I'd like to do, but I did send him a question here. Check it out:

(Christopher Hitchens has already deftly refuted what Sid Blew wrote about him.)

I just love Hitchens. I've continued getting Vanity Fair for years only for his articles.
And I wish so much I had saved the issue from maybe 5 years ago, which contained an article he wrote--and I can only remember that it was something to do with Africa. But the best part was in the first few pages of the issue, where there are photos of the various contributors to each month's issue.
The photo of Hitchens for that month, themed with his article about Africa, showed him in the buff (!!) face down on a leopard print rug. I swear to God.

Thanks for the ping. Read later when I have the time.

You'd think the Clintons' worshippers would be satisfied to put on kneepads and
kneel in obeisance to the two lowlife grifters in order to get big buck WH jobs.
No, not enough. They have to lie and spin and obfuscate and deceive and rationalize
every lowdown crime the Clintons ever committed (in order to sell their filthy books).
This poser Blumenthal and the rest of 'em together with the Clintons are disturbed
individuals. They should be on medication, not on TV manipulating the viewing public.

I think I figured it out while I was out just now......Sid's book is going to have all the "stuff" in it that Bill and Hill don't want to discuss (beneath them, ya know!).....and then they can just say, "Oh, that's already been discussed in Sid's book. Next question?"

Sidney has a pretty high opinion of himself, too.
I was SCREAMING at Hannity just now in the car -- what softball questions -- and NO REBUTTAL to the outright lies!

Today on the radio, Sidney said that a Republican investigator had looked into Juanita's, Kathleen's, and Paula's charges and discovered they were bogus.
Sean didn't say ONE WORD. I was so disgusted!

I think Sean was just stringing Sid along. It is impossible to argue with a zealot, so Sean just got out of the way and let Sid use his own words to show what an entire fool he is.
