We treked up to Vermont to visit Marlboro College some years ago, when one of our sons was on the lookout for an interesting school with an emphasis on international studies and experiences. The place seemed more like a farm--or perhaps a commune--than a college. And the young woman who gave us a campus tour appeared to be on drugs. We decided our money could be put to better use at Georgetown, though in retrospect I'd say the values there are not much different.

Seems like you may have been at the right place for some international experiences (though not the kind you may have had in mind): Peruvian Pink, Columbian Gold, Oaxacan, Jamaican Black, Thai sticks, Nepalese Blonde.
