Incredibly, at a time when critics are attacking Roman Catholic dioceses in the U.S. for allowing gay priests to have access to teenage boys, thus exposing them to the strong possibility of molestation, others are demanding that gay scout leaders be allowed the same kind of risky access to teenage boy scouts.

As an aside, has anyone noticed that when a priest is attacked for being a pedophile, the fact that he's a homosexual (at least in most cases) is never brought up. It's always "pedophile priests". And it's true, with all the trouble the church is having, you'd think the LAST thing anyone would advocate is for homosexual scout leaders.

Exactly!  In fact, it's not so much a problem of pedophilia that's plaguing The Church, it's a problem of pederasty (a man who has sexual relations with a boy).  It seems clear that the mainstream media has attempted to cover up this aspect of the crisis by substituting a deliberately vague word for the correct word, as it would bring a protected class (sodomites) under fire when the clear attempt is to destroy a Pro Life entity.

I've noticed that even Howie Carr, on his radio show, who used to emphasize the homosexual aspect and even had Michael Rose on, now refers to "pedophile priests" molesting "little boys." I don't know why the change. (Though I could hazard a guess.)
