I don't recall reading that in the Constitution, but I reserve that as one of those unenumerated rights we all have.
"We just think their policy is appalling and we're saying so. Surely you think we have that right."
So do I. I say it by not sending any money to United Way.
"I will never be forced to teach my child that homosexuality is normal."
I'm with you on that. I have two sons, I don't believe that anyone other than myself and my wife have a right to teach them morals.
I don't understand "their" obsession anymore than I understand the obsession of those who would use the power of government to regulate the private sex lives of citizens.
We try to use government to support our dislike for their lifestyle, they use our dislike for their lifestyle, the kind of verbiage used in FR when homosexuality is discussed, and the fact that we as a majority are busy enacting laws to control their behavior to get the very same government that we are using to control them, to control us.
This should be fought at home, by teaching our kids right from wrong.
I don't want to give the government more power to intrude into the lives of citizens.
Very nicely put, Luis. We reap what we sow.
I don't recall reading that in the Constitution, but I reserve that as one of those unenumerated rights we all have. I am referring to the Dale vs. Boy Scouts ruling where they affirmed the free association rights of the Boy Scouts (barely).
