The fact is that people do engage in them. If you find the acts themselves disgusting, would you not think those who engage in them are sick?

I find circumcision to be a savage, unnecessary act of ritualistic violence that's perpetrated on infants by a less-than-sanitary Mohel during the bris ceremony.

But my kids are Jewish, so I dealt with it.
