Mickey was an 80's song, if you're referring to the song that went, "O Mickey you so fine, you so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey! Hey Mickey!" That's an 80's song.
But really, any music torturer worth his (or her) salt knows that the weapon varies with the victim.
For some people, nothing works better than a twangy George Jones tune to get whatever you want out of them.
"Step right up, come on in,
If you'd LIIIKE to TAAAAAAAAKE the Grand Tour,
Of a lonely house, that once was Home Sweet Home..."
"...if you'll look, you'll see the nursery,
Oh, she left me without mercy!
Taking nothing, but our baby and my Heaaaaarrrrrrrrt!"

How about Johnny Cash's "flushed from the bathroom of your heart"
No disrespect to the man in black!

OK, be that way! I suspected that Toni Basil opus might date from the VERY early 80s but didn't think anyone would call me on it. Can I substitute Bobby Goldsborough's "Honey", or was that late 60s?

(Who would really love to hear about six hours of "Take A Letter Maria" right now.)
