Unfortunately, some people gauge how much importance the Administration places on an issue by looking at how much coverage it gets on cable news.
If the President had continued to deal only with Iraq and nothing else, the press (and Demoncrats) would be down his throat. So he branches out, and tries to tackle the economy, and he's whipped by the press for that too. As usual, there's no happy medium. In the end, President Bush is going to do what he thinks is best for the American people, and I'll be backing him 100%.
