In a conversation with NEWSWEEK, Blair spoke of his feelings since his career went up in flames: “I can’t say anything other than the fact that I feel a range of emotions including guilt, shame, sadness, betrayal, freedom and appreciation for those who have stood by me, been tough on me, and have taken the time to understand that there is a deeper story and not to believe everything they read in the newspapers.” Or so Jayson says.

"Translation: "Do you think Simon and Shuster will give me an advance almost as big as Hillary's?"

Any book that Blair writes will be fictional, just like Hillary's.

If he gets a book deal, it could be serving as a way to get him to keep his mouth shut. Hush money.

no! of course not.

i had to laugh at the san diego soviet union tribune recently. it's supposedly a "republican" newspaper, having endorsed dubya and all, but the feminist-socialist agenda controls the paper.

recently they had an editorial about the nyt mess, saying that the soviet union tribune is dedicated "truth and accuracy"!

whatta laugh!

i used to work at a university and had access to journalism majors grades and sat scores; they ranked down there with the education majors.

also, the so-called "j-schools" emerged in the 1960s, taking journalists out of difficult courses. no math, no science, no philosophy, no history, and no english.

a good friend of mine was a j-school student; he and the j-school were party-hearty folks. the print people, he said, looked down upon the tv people because the latter were good looking, clothes horses, and stupid.

when he graduated he went off to another city to work for his family newspaper. he wrote only several letters to me, but stopped because i used to correct his spelling and grammatical errors in red and mail them back to him! his response? that's not my job, someone else does that.

they were all radical environmentalists, feminists, and socialists.

universities need to dissolve their j-schools and return to the basics--readin', writin', 'rithmatic, and thinkin', cuz, these j-school people don't none 2 good! (/s)

well, you're right.

remember last week or so that high school girl that filed the lawsuit to be the only valedictorian of her graduating class? she, too, had the same lofty, socialist goals, and wanted of course to be a lawyer. translated, she'll make $650,000 per year and be highly visible in the leftwing media.

not to believe everything they read in the newspapers

It is almost inconceivable to me, that a person in his situation could utter those words.

He's a pathological liar.

I can certainly conceive of somebody saying that because he has a sense of humor.

Reminds me of a true story some years back about a news reporter who posed as insane patient to get admitted to an asylum to do an undercover investigation of what went on there. She fooled all the doctors and shrinks, but couldn't fool the patients.

White guilt is no excuse to allow a reporter to lie to the readers time and time again.

This clown feels betrayal. Please let it be his betrayal of others. Otherwise I feel a great amount of gag me.
