How much for all 3 movies on DVD? These guys are re-writing the rules on making money in the movie biz.

Matrix fans are a select group, not your general purpose Spiderman movie goers. The numbers mean more for this type of movie.

I dunno, any movie that does $39 mm of box office in a day is mass market, not art house. Then again, that young sniper fellow (Malvo) was a big fan, so maybe I'm wrong. :) Any movie with a cameo by Cornel West is definitely...pseudo-intellectual comes to mind.

"Any movie with a cameo by Cornel West"

I saw that cameo and said WTF? I didn't know he was going to be in it, but immediately recognized the doofus, "What, me worry?" 60's caricature. Kinda like Ted Turner in Gods and Generals.

And what's with Zion? The place looked like Harlem on Saturday night crossed with Dante's Inferno, complete with mosh pit.

If I were Neo, I'd be wondering if it's worth sacrificing my life for these morons. First impression.

Not art house, just a select audience. Like a Star Wars or a Friday the 13th group.
