Dix's partner in crime: Fannie Mae the real estate beagle.
Stevie, Eaker & Rika at the pistol range:
And then the rifle range:
There were guns everywhere, even Eeevil assault rifles.
Everyone backed off a bit when Texas Cowboy first fired the .50 caliber.
Even Rika shot the .50, proving it is indeed just a girl's gun!
Some cattle roamed around the range...
Which had no relation at all to what was served afterward.

The Dread Boston Salty almost had a sketch when I showed him Fannie's picture - he says she is HOT! We'll definitely be attending the next one!

...even Eeevil assault rifles... I don't know - the one in the background looks kinda like one of those 'mouse guns.' If you ever get the urge to build a full-size "Eeevil assault rifle," I can personally recommend the most "Eeevil" of them all:
FAL - "The Free World's Right Arm"
Happy shootin'! (Wish I was there! ;>)

Looks like y'all had a great time! Who was it that got the humidity lowered for the event? Somebody with GOOD connections. I wasn't able to make Springfield Break, but I did take advantage of the good weather by sipping a couple of 'ritas on the patio of Chapultapec (sp?) after the show at Hobby Center.
I particularly love seeing Dix looking so good and the picture of Fannie Mae in the earphones is priceless!

It was a beautiful Texas day for shootin'. There's not a much better way to spend a spring day than with friends, guns, dogs and BBQ.
I'm looking forward to the Second First Annual GlocktoberFest!

Boy, Talk about a promotional ad for Texas!!! I'd pack up tommorrow if I could. Makes me wonder if the "Honorary Texas Citizenship Papers" an old girlfriend in Corpus Christi gave me are still any good?!?!?
