The Chinese may find ways to treat it or help people recover, but they've meantime they did nothing for six months and let it escape all over the country into the boondocks. It will almost inevitably start up again next fall and spread around the world.

China now has it permanently. And I doubt whether it can be contained there, because there's always someone eager to make a buck who will fly in and bring it out with him.
