Regarding sacrifice, if you are Catholic the bread and wine don't just represent Jesus' body and blood, they are, in some metaphysical and spiritual way, transformed into the real body and blood.
It's a sacrifice where the animals no longer have a part, first born or not.
So, exactly what is it that we don't do in America?
