Brings me to something I've been thinking about: Remember how MG was out front early on, talking about Scott's goose being cooked, many were really surprised that as a defense attorney he was speaking in such a manner. Of course, that soon changed, and there has been talk that this may have been a covert plan of some sort (a la Condit payroll, long before that was made public).

Anyway, I've been thinking internet forums and newsgroups would be the ideal place for similar tactics to be used, espcially for focus group research and trial baloons for the defense team. I wonder about that, and as time goes on, it will be interesting to see, as in order for something like that to work, such plants would already be firmly in place and established. The tactics would not be quite as obvious as MG about face on Scott, but still, ulterior motives there would be.

As we debate points, as the defense sends up these new theories, I'm certain there are those who are charting the way the wind blows not just here, but on several forums, as well as demographics(as much as possible).

For sure, Rusty, that kind of activity takes place here on alot more issues than this one, all the time.

But in the "satanic ritual" case I think all the hot air in the world isn't going to float that lead ballon, even if it's true.
